Congratulations to Alief ISD's Scholar Athletes for the month of December!

Congratulations to our December Scholar Athletes: Jada Shanklin (Elsik High School Girls Basketball Program) and Mohamed Mabizari (Elsik High School Boys Basketball Program).

Hearne Elementary School’s 4th grade received a $500 donation from Nina and Edd Hendee, owners of local steakhouse Taste of Texas.

Hearne was the only school selected for this award this year. Students also learned about Texas history and character and career development during a tour of the restaurant. Taste of Texas also provided students with lunch during the trip.

Congratulations to the following Alief ISD staff members, whose DonorsChoose.org projects were funded!
