In honor of Dr. Martin L. King Jr.'s birthday, there will be no school on Monday, January 16th.
6th Grade Camp Forms
Our 6th Grade students are going to camp during the week of February 21st-24th. If you haven't already completed your forms, please get those in this week. Additionally, if you haven't paid for camp or set up a payment plan, please contact Jenn Weese in the front office.
Dustin Burns, one of our school board members and one of the Outdoor Education Specialists, will be presenting information about camp to the students on Wednesday, January 18th.
There will be a digital parent information meeting for PRIDE Academy and Sycamore Canyon on Wednesday, February 1st from 6:00-7:00 PM on TEAMS. The link is listed below:

Food Flyer Night - El Pollo Loco
Our next food flyer night will be on Wednesday, January 18th at El Pollo Loco in Santee. 20% of each purchase between the hours of 11:00 AM-8:00 PM with a flyer, will come back to the school. We hope to see you there!
Lost and Found
We have a number of jackets and water bottles that have accumulated in our school Lost and Found. Items not claimed will be donated at the end of the year. Please check the Lost and Found for any missing items.
Attendance
- If your student will be absent please make sure you are calling our attendance line to let the front office know.
- If your student is showing COVID symptoms (sore throat, fever, headache, vomiting, diarrhea, chills, congestion or cough), be sure to take two tests (12-hours apart) prior to returning to class. If you are in need of COVID tests, the school has tests we can provide you.
- You may also want to email the teacher and let them know as well.
