Coaches' Corner

Check for Understanding Strategy

View this Check for Understanding: Look how she quickly assessed who needed additional support and clearly communicated, “If i need you I’ll tap you for my back group.”

Such smooth transitions, too! See clip below.

PD sessions from last week's staff meeting

If you missed last staff meeting, I have extra Math kits Ms. Powell created in my office. Please swing by to grab one. You will need to meet with her to get the training on how to use the kits.

Also, many of you mentioned wanting the math manipulative kit that was used in the demonstration. I am happy to purchase these, but you will need to get the full retraining from Ms. Powell. Please let me know if you are interested.

Saturday Writing Camp

We will have Writing Camp this Saturday. There will be NO writing camp on the 22nd.

The building will be open from 8:30-11:30 for anyone that wants to work.

Stonebridge Donation

Just a reminder, please have students write thank you notes to Stonebridge.

Stonebridge has generously donated $24,000 towards an Innovation lab for our new school. We are so excited about this potential space and all of the incredible things you will be able to create with your students in the Innovation Lab.
