Welcome Back Frontier Students & Staff!
Superintendent Message
Dear Frontier Staff, Family and Friends,
Welcome to another exciting school year at Frontier Schools. It is my pleasure to continue serving as Superintendent of Frontier Schools where we work towards continuous improvement and high standards. At Frontier, we will continue to provide an exceptional educational environment in which students can best learn and we will maintain a safe and friendly atmosphere that encourages students’ desire for knowledge and to help them express themselves effectively.
We will continue reaching out to our staff, families and community through our “Frontier News” newsletter. This newsletter will inform our entire Frontier family about what's happening in our schools, as well as provide updates on our programs and other school and district highlights. Another way to stay connected is to follow us on social media. Our Facebook and Twitter accounts are provided in this newsletter.
Thank you for your continued commitment to quality education for all of our students at Frontier Schools. I wish all our parents, students and staff members a wonderful school year.
Sincerely,
Ugur Demircan
Superintendent

FSHS's Summer Solar Car Competition
Frontier STEM High School’s Solar Panthers competed in the 2018 Solar Car Challenge over summer break. This is the second summer the Solar Panthers have excitedly participated in this nationwide challenge, competing against 20 student teams from across the country. The Solar Panthers were the only team from the state of Missouri.
Each July, teams meet at the Texas Motor Speedway in Dallas, Texas to challenge and race their roadworthy cars on a 7-day journey, driving from Dallas, Texas to Palmdale, California. The Solar Car Challenge is a top project-based STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) initiative striving to motivate and inspire students who have in interest in Science, Engineering and Alternative Energy.
The Solar Panthers had a great time at competition and look forward to welcoming new members to the Solar Panther Team this school year! They will continue to improve their solar car as they eagerly await next summer’s competition in 2019.
