Wrestling Club

Congratulations to our wrestling club who competed in the Polk County Wrestling Championship last weekend and all team members won medals! Rudy captured 2nd place in the 70lb division, Parker pinned down 3rd place in the 75lb Division, Marco seized 1st place in 90lb division and dominated for 1st place in the 95lb division. Way to go boys! Thank you to Coach Jeff Messner for your leadership this season! For anyone interested in wrestling for St. Joseph next year, there will be a wrestling club available in the spring and summer to learn the basics of wrestling or to further your skill. New wrestlers are encouraged to take this option as there is not enough time or gym availability to train new wrestlers during our regular season in the fall. Please text Coach Messner for more information at 863-287-6905. Also, we are looking for a parent with wrestling experience who would like to help grow our wrestling program. If you’re interested, please contact Coach Messner.

O Blessed Joseph, faithful guardian of my Redeemer, Jesus Christ, protector of Mary, the virgin Mother of God, I choose you this day to be my special patron and advocate and I firmly resolve to honor you all the days of my life. Therefore I humbly ask you to receive me as your client, to instruct me in every doubt, to comfort me in every affliction, to obtain for me and for all the knowledge and love of the Heart of Jesus, and finally to defend and protect me at the hour of my death.
