Lake Pollution
From Harsh Chemicals
Information
Many brand cleaners we use are unsafe for our environment. Cleaners like Lysol, Windex, Lysol and Windex are flushed down toilets, washed down drainers and dumped in the grass outside. Those cleaners can get into our waters and can pollute our waterways. Example of those harmful chemicals are Formaldehyde, Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Ammonia. Those chemicals are generally used in fertilizers but have been found to be great cleaners. When in our waters, those substances can cause problems like pollution and accelerated plant growth.
