Welcome to West Patent Elementary School!
On behalf of the West Patent Elementary School community, welcome to our school page. We are one of five elementary schools within the Bedford Central School District. We are proud of the wonderful environment that enables each student to learn in a safe and nurturing school - one in which each child is afforded the opportunity to reach his/her potential.
West Patent Elementary School fosters learning by promoting a nurturing, academically rigorous learning environment where all students feel accepted, supported and taught to respect each other, feel comfortable taking academic risks while taking responsibility for their own learning.
We are also a service oriented community which encourages children to think about others and help those in need. We strive to inculcate character traits that support good citizenship, global awareness and looking outward.
Please come and visit us on the school website or in person.
Sincerely,
Vera N. Berezowsky
Principal
