The Nazca Lines In Peru

The knowledge of the Nazca lines

The Nazca lines

These 2000 year old mysterious lines located in the southern desert of Peru. we have made lots of guesses on what they mean but we may never know. The lines are of geometrical shapes and animal creatures that each represent a different thing.

The Theories

There are lots of theories on the lines like that the lines are biased around water, sacrifices and rituals to plead for water, because the desert is nearly wind less and only rains about 20 minuets a year so they desperately needed water. The strange thing is is that there is no way to make such big shapes without a bird's eye view. so the natives would of had to of had some kind of flying device to see what they were building. so that is when we think aliens were involved in creating the lines since you would have to fly to see what you are building.

The meaning

There are educated guesses there were over 900 figures and creatures found in the desert. There had to be meanings for the big figures. We think that the monkey that lives in the rain forest represents lots of rain. The spider is thought to just represent water. The humming bird we think is to represent fertile crop growing soil for food. The natives there all desperately needed food and water so they could of been pleading for food and water to the gods, but we might never know unless we could go back in time to ask.
