Brock Bulletin
March/April 2016
April is Autism Awareness Month
This month is Autism Awareness Month. Although I am not one to believe in artificial recognitions and made up Hallmark days such as "Boss's Day", I do believe that this particular awareness month has brought forth many needed resources and services for our learners with Autism. Did you know that 20% of CISD's learners with special education
services have the eligibility of Autism? The focus of this month's Brock Bulletin will primarily be on Autism and the wonderful gifts these learners bring to us all.
Have a great week!
