You are Difference Makers!
This week has been a constant reminder of how blessed I am in my life. While there will always be challenges, I know these struggles are small compared to many others. The holidays can be stressful and we can easily lose sight of what real struggles are in the hustle and bustle of trying to make the season perfect.
It is important this time of year to remember that there is a much larger world than what we see on a daily basis. When we are well-fed, don’t forget there are those who do not know where their next meal will come from. When winter’s chill has hit our region, don’t forget there are areas of our nation facing the aftermath of devasting wildfires. When we get to spend time with family during the holiday season (even if that family drives us crazy sometimes), don’t forget there are those this holiday season who are all alone. When we find joy in the holiday season, don’t forget that there are those who feel hopelessly sad.
As we move in and out of the holiday season, don’t forget that the season of giving, rather than receiving can be a part of our daily lives. Some of us may be able to give monetarily; some of us may be able to give our time to help; some of us may be able to share a kind word of support. No matter how big or how small, find ways to continue to give in the coming months. Don’t forget whether it’s in halls and classrooms of CN or in the big world beyond our daily lives and routines, something as small as a kind gesture or kind word can make all the difference. You are all difference makers at CN and we are thankful to share this journey with all of you!
This Kid!
Hello everybody! I just wanted to take the time and thank you for the times you gave me throughout my experiences here at CN, good and bad. In case you were not aware, I did get accepted into a National Guard academy in Knightstown, IN and I will finish school with them for the rest of the year. My first day is January 12, 2019 and will continue throughout May, 2019. When I graduate (June 15th, 2019) I will then continue to go on and do what is right, and that's to serve for you guys and for our country.
I had a great time here at Central Noble and I loved the atmosphere. CN has given me some high school and life memories that I'll remember and never regret or forget for the rest of my life. I am really sad that I'm leaving you guys, but it's going to be what's best for me and my family and our future. I really did enjoy your guys' company and you will be missed dearly! =( Love you guys and take care!!
Thanks!
