FROM THE DESK OF THE PRINCIPAL:

STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT
STEM LESSON - Mrs. Krier
Gold Team Science students completed a STEM lesson. They tried to build the tallest cup tower using 75 cups while learning to work with new classmates.
U.S. HISTORY - Mrs. Yaffee
U.S. History students were reviewing their map skills and creating globes from balloons to help place themselves and the early explorers on the earth! This activities also helps students visualize how cartographers, including Christopher Columbus, thought they could get to Asia via a water route because they had no knowledge that the Americas would be in their way!

Various classrooms conducted activities with a focus on the events of September 11, 2001 including the impact of that days events on our country. Students examined how the incident invigorated America to come together to bring peace, healing, and justice to all those involved.
