SLE WEEKLY UPDATE
NOVEMBER 3, 2023
Dear East Families,
The first week of November has arrived and that means winter weather will be here before we know it! Occasionally, there may be a need to send students home early due to weather conditions, power outages, boiler failures, and so on. Please discuss this possibility with your student and devise a plan for him/her to follow. Your plan might involve going straight home, or you may have a student who is going to take care of younger children until you get home. Please make sure your student knows the plan and follows it for their safety and your peace of mind. Additionally, winter weather can bring hazardous road conditions and our teen drivers may not have a significant amount of experience driving in snow, sleet, or ice. If your student will be driving to school, please take time to review the following winter driving tips with them. Also, please remind them to leave extra time so that they are not late for school. We want all of our Cougars to arrive safely!
We are looking forward to seeing parents and guardians at conferences next week!
Have a fantastic weekend!
Be EAST !
