Basket for Dr. Showalter

Dear Friends of Dr. Showalter,

As everyone knows, Dr. Showalter retired earlier this year. The plans were to have a big celebration to let him know how much he is appreciated and loved. Unfortunately, because of his unexpected illness we were unable and still are unable to have a party for him. The community of St. Mary’s is such a wonderful community and one big family. The committee would like to give a “ You Are Loved” basket to Dr. Showalter and his family. We are asking for either letters, gifts, or donations by Christmas to show him how much we appreciate everything that he did for St Mary of the Assumption School and Church. We will be collecting items until December 20. We are thinking of religious items such as pictures, books, statues, gift cards, or anything that you would like to donate. You can send or drop off your items to Tamera Campbell at the school, Sharon Bookwalter at the parish office or Lisa Larsen. If you have any questions, you can email Tamera @ tcampbell@stmaryum.org, Sharon @ sbookwakter@stmaryum.org or Lisa @ riverbirch9@gmail.com. Please do not let him or his family know as we would like it to be a surprise.
