Following the Kirkwood football game on Thursday night Coach Chojnacki and the football program were recognzied by the officials for their sportsmanship. The high expectations for Howell programs extend well beyond the finished product that fans see on the field or court. You can view the positive special report we received from the official below. Congratulations to Coach Chojnacki and the football program for their efforts to positively represent Howell and our community.
"Hats off to Francis Howell High School. You have a class act representing you as your head football coach. Coach Chojnacki is a phenomenal leader of young men, and I applaud him for his calm demeanor and spectacular sportsmanship. His team played a strong opponent in a hard fought, close game. He was a joy to work with, even when the calls went against his team. Brent is what great looks like, and I wish him and his team nothing but the best in the future. We need more coaches like Brent!"
"I was the linesman for this game and worked with Brent Chojnacki on his sideline. There was a lot of tough plays that went on in this game and he was very professional in how he handled everything. It was my pleasure to work with him and I would look forward to doing another game with him."

Youth Spectator Guidelines For 2018-19 School Year
As we begin the fall season and our highly attended "Friday Night Lights" the FHSD would like to remind all parents and students of our youth spectator guidelines that are in place to ensure the safety of students and fans at all FHSD events.
All students and children currently enrolled in the eighth grade and younger must be accompanied and directly supervised by an adult to be admitted to or remain at the event. Students and children are expected to remain under the supervision of the adult that they are attending the event with.
Youth spectators as described above will not be admitted to the stadium without a designated adult. Any youth spectators without a designated adult will be held outside the stadium until their parents come to pick them up or accompany them into the game.
Accompanying adults are asked to maintain diligent supervision of those youth spectators for which they have assumed responsibility the entire contest. Any youth spectators found to be without adult supervision will be returned to the adult(s) they came to game with. If their adults are unable to be found, they will be held outside the stadium until a responsible adult comes to pick them up or accompany them back to the game.
