Unity Through Community

This past Wednesday, our school celebrated Unity Day by wearing orange and creating personalized hearts to remind ourselves that we are better together when we value and care for one another. These 387 hearts are now displayed on our school's front lawn to serve as a visual representation of the beauty of a united community. The heart garden will be up for 1 week, so stop by, take pictures, and marvel at the beauty that is Wildwood Elementary.

Warmly,

Mr. Lynch

Yearbook Chairpeople Needed

We are looking for someone to be our Yearbook Chair(s). The yearbook is a cherished memory for students and families. This is mostly a work from home job with an easy to use online program that is pre-formatted. The job description includes downloading photos that are submitted to our yearbook email account, uploading and organizing them in the online program, and then plugging them into the pre-formatted pages. If you are interested, please contact Christina Arzouman at crazytina426@yahoo.com.

Wildwood Website Update

We are excited to share that on Friday, October 28th we will be launching a brand new website for our school! This website has a beautiful new design, is mobile friendly, user-friendly and will allow us to continue to highlight all the great things happening at our school. While we plan to hit the “launch” button on Friday, October 28th - it may take up to 48 hours for the website transition to complete. During this time it is possible that the website load time may be slow and/or non-responsive. Please plan ahead, in case there are items you plan to access on our websites during the weekend of October 29th and 30th. We look forward to welcoming you to our new website!

50's Sock Hop: Parent "Dancers" Needed

Our 50th Anniversary team is planning a 50's Sock Hop to be held during lunchtime on Friday, November 4 - our 50th day of school in our 50th year of operation. Students and staff are encouraged to come to school dressed in 50's attire for a day of fun and celebration.

We are currently looking for a handful of parents who would be willing to dress up (50's style) and join us for our 50's Dance Party in the MPR at lunchtime from 11:20am-1:05pm. NO DANCE EXPERIENCE NECESSARY - just a fun-loving spirit and a willingness to gently encourage our students to get on the dance floor.

Please contact Kristina Martinez kpadilla22@yahoo.com to express your interest and join the fun!
