Thank you for supporting the FOSS PJ day today. Your donations are really important and very much appreciated. FOSS have recently purchased a class set of atlases with the money you have raised. So far today, donations have reached £98.40 which is wonderful.

Sustrans Big walk and wheel event

We are delighted with our response to the Big Walk & Wheel. Eco Warriors have collected the number of journeys made each day and currently our school is coming 19th in the North of England, and 150th in the whole of the UK – which is amazing (final places including Friday data will be announced next week). We made 348 active journeys and saved a great deal of CO2 from emissions, which is fantastic. Thanks for your support.

Adventure Photography will be in school at 9am on Thursday 7th April to take the class photographs, we will send the proofs home as soon as they are available.

Chocolate Tombola - Friday 8/4/22

Chocolate Tombola - Friday 8/4/22

FOSS are holding a chocolate tombola on the last day of school, Friday 8th April. Children will be able to buy tickets to win chocolate prizes (vegan and dairy-free alternatives will also be available). If you are able to donate Easter themed chocolate, please bring into the office by Wednesday 6th April. Thank you for your support!

School Lunches

School Lunches

Please see the Spring 2022 Lunch menu below. Next week we will be on Week 1 of lunches.


Children can decide daily whether they are having a school dinner or packed lunch.


Please ensure you discuss the menu each day with your child so they can decide what they would like to order. Once they know their choices, they will choose this each morning with their teacher during registration.


Each day there are 4 choices, either the hot dinner, hot vegetarian option, jacket potato with a choice of toppings or a sandwich. The sandwich and jacket potato always come with a selection of vegetables/salad on the side and have the full pudding choice for that day.


Packed Lunches - if you are sending grapes in your child's packed lunch, can you please ensure that these are cut in half.

Application for Pupil Absence Form

This form should be completed by the parent/carer and returned to the school as far in advance as possible and preferably preferably with sufficient notice before the first intended day of absence.
