Happenings at JHCS
December 2019
Cold Weather Is Upon Us
Please be sure to send your child to school with the proper clothing to go outside every day. Studies show that students need to go outside to allow their brains to function at their fullest. As a result, all students will go outside for recess if it is above 20 degrees. We only stay inside if it is raining or a red air quality day. (Those with asthma will stay in on yellow air quality days as well). We recommend the following:
- Warm winter coat
- Gloves/mittens
- Hat
- Boots (they can change into winter boots to play on the snow)
