We are hosting a Scholastic Book Fair at Holmes Road from Friday, October 21st, through Thursday, October 27th.

Book Fair Hours are:

Friday, October 21st: 8:30am-7:00pm

Monday, October 24th: 8:30am-3:30pm

Tuesday, October 25th: 8:30am-6:00pm

Wednesday, October 26th: 8:30am-3:30pm

Thursday, October 27th: 8:30am-6:00pm

Students can come during the school day or with their grownups during the Open Shopping Hours. All sales items will be taxed 8%. Cash, check, and ewallet accepted.

Join us for a fun-filled event on Saturday, November 12 from 11 am - 1:30 pm. Students in Grade PreK - 12th grade and their families are invited to participate in a variety of activities, a game of Family Feud, enjoy a pizza lunch, and meet many of our GCSD community partners.

Greece Central Elementary Schools have partnered with Toys for Tots to provide holiday gifts to families facing financial hardship this year. Supplies are limited. Each child (newborn through 8th grade) will receive one age appropriate toy.

Requests due by Friday, November 4, 2022. Confirmation will be sent by Thanksgiving week if your family is selected.

Here at Holmes Road Elementary School, we have INCREDIBLE school spirit! We celebrate together as a Holmes Road Community any chance we get. This year, we'd like to invite our students to demonstrate their school spirit on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with us. Every Monday is JOY DAY this year at Holmes Road! On Mondays, please feel free to wear any apparel that supports a theme of joy and kindness. Your children will likely see our staff members wearing reminders of joy, kindness, and positivity! Wednesday is "Bright Futures Day" this year at Holmes Road. Students are welcome to dress like their favorite future profession, or they may wear a favorite college sweatshirt or any shirt representing a trade or business they respect. Fridays are Holmes Road Spirit Days- students are welcome to wear any Holmes Road gear or our school colors, which are blue, yellow, and white. We can not wait to see our kiddos participating in our weekly spirit days this year, and we're looking forward to sharing loads of pictures of our adorable kiddos with you in future Roadrunner Reports!

Throughout the year, we will be reaching out to ask for your insights, thoughts, and impressions regarding our Holmes Road Community and how we can be our best for our students' happiness, safety, and success. In addition to some survey-type outreach, we are also looking for parents to lend their voice to several of our building-based committees, such as our School Improvement Team and our Guardians of Equity committee. If you are interested in lending your thoughts and talents to our community in this way, please reach out to Mrs. Tsang at kristin.tsang@greececsd.org.
