Ms. Musel's Classroom Newsletter
October
Dear Parents,
We are already in the 9th week of school and I was pleased to see you again at the parent/teacher conferences these past few weeks. The students and I were thrilled to show you what we have been learning this year!
In the next weeks ahead we will be learning lots of new things! In science, we will be dissecting the pumpkin that we get from our field trip to the Pumpkin Patch. After we dissect the pumpkins we will be painting and decorating them to put around our classroom. In math, we will focus on learning new numbers. Our goal is to be able to count to the number 10 soon. I have asked the students to bring empty egg cartons to school, if they have any at home, for a math workstation where they will hunt for the numbers we are learning about each day. For Social Studies, we will be learning about our communities and we will be drawing a map of the street we live on.
Sincerely,
Ms, Musel
