PE/Enrichment & Independent Study
Some questions have arisen about the time when students are not in ELA, Math, Science, or Social Studies classes. Every student schedule shows a PE/Health, Enrichment, and Independent Study period. These are asynchronous times that students do not have to log in for attendance. Students are scheduled into a PE/Health class and an Enrichment class. Teachers have sent students Google Classroom invitations where they can get the assignments that they need to complete. Teachers have also posted a schedule of Zoom links where students can interact with the teacher and receive help with any questions they may have regarding their assignments.
Independent Study provides an opportunity for students to work on their assignments or practice skills. Below is a link to a document with a number of suggestions for your student to utilize during this time.
