5th Grade Merryhill Memos/Memories

Week 34 – 4/30 ~ 5/4

We Stay Inspired

Do or do not. There is no try.

Many of the truths we cling to depend on our point of view.

Greatest teacher failure is.

Always pass on what you have learned.

Truly wonderful the mind of a child is.

~ Yoda, Jedi Master

This Week in 5th Grade

Language Arts: Students will finish theirWrinkle in Time Literary Analysis and create "liquid" rough drafts for their Sci-Fi dramas. Students will also have practice with 'newspeak' in writing fictional and expository newspaper articles.

Math: Blended Learning will take place in the IDEA Studio and Measurement Conversion concepts will continue to be explored in the classroom.
