The Mill Creek Connection

A Home & School Publication - September 2013

A Word From Your HSA Executive Board

Welcome Back!

We hope you have enjoyed some quality time with your families and are ready for the excitement that the 2013-2014 school year will bring! The Mill Creek HSA will host a variety of events including family fun nights, Mother Son Event, Mother Daughter Event, Father Son Event, Father Daughter Dance, Trenton Thunder, Bingo Nights, 6th Grade Events, and many more! Thanks to our volunteers, these events are able to happen.

In other exciting news, Kid Stuff Books will be back by popular demand. Many of you have missed and have been asking about Kid Stuff Books. The HSA will be offering them to all of the Mill Creek families. We are still excited to host our ever popular Walk for Education come this November, which always thrives thanks to everyone’s generosity and is always fun for all.

We look forward to a fun-filled, productive year at Mill Creek!

The Mill Creek Home and School Association

The Mill Creek Home and School Association (HSA) is a vibrant, active organization involved in the education of the children of Mill Creek Elementary School, the promotion of cooperation among parents, children and teachers, and the development of a channel of communication between home and school. All parents or guardians of children enrolled in Mill Creek and all administrators and faculty members are members of the HSA.

Active participation in the HSA is a great way to stay connected with the school and to be involved in your child’s educational experience. The success of the HSA and its many programs and events depends on volunteers. Please consider volunteering your time for one or more committees. A list of committees and their chairs is found in the Mill Creek Student Directory.

If you have any questions about the HSA, feel free to call us at 267-893-3600, menu option 5, or send us an email at Be sure to check out the Mill Creek website:, which has information about the HSA and its events, along with general information about Mill Creek.
