Nelson's Notes

October 9, 2015

"Data-driven instruction is the philosophy that schools should constantly focus on one simple question: Are our students learning?" - Paul Bambrick-Santoyo

Watch the short video, Small Group Work with "I Choose" - We have the time (Power Hour). Now, what are we going to do with it?

CIP Goal 1, Performance Objective 1: During the 2015-16 school year, the frequency of small group instruction will increase from 26% to 40% based on campus walkthrough data.

Most Valuable Knight

Be sure to give a great big shout out to Claudia Flores, our secretary, and this week’s MVK! Let’s read what you all had to say about Calm Claudia..

Mrs. Flores is always on top of everything!! Not only is she on top of things but she gets the job done with a smile on her face! She is a light that is always shining bright! Claudia is awesome and so sweet at ALL TIMES! I love her and know that she always has the answer. She loves everyone and she is loved by all! Claudia is always happy to answer any questions I have about anything.

Even though I often interrupt her, she always smiles and patiently helps. She never makes me feel dumb and that I didn't already know the answer. She is amazing at keeping us all organized. Without a doubt, Claudia is dedicated Kimberlin Knight!
