This Week's Agenda:

We are in the homestretch of Quarter 1 now, in week 8! We are wrapping up Unit 4 (the last of Quarter 1 work) in preparation for the end of the quarter and report cards. It's critical that students get caught up if they are behind and go back and ensure that ALL assignments have been completed, so that they do not calculate as 0s.

**All Quarter 1 work (from Start Here!-Unit 4) must be turned in by October 23rd, when it will permanently close, final 0s will be inputted and grades reported for report cards.**

A Note on Grades

Please remember that any incomplete/missing assignments are calculated as 0s. If a student is behind, any work that should be done (or was missed/skipped) is being calculated as a 0 and greatly bringing down his or her current average. I input 0s every weekend for the previously due work from that week. This is one of the reasons that it is SO important for students to stay on track (or ahead), using the Schedule of Assignments. Once the assignment is completed, the new grade will override the 0, so the 0s is gone. If you/your student/s have ANY questions about grades/feedback, etc., please let me know! :-)
