Lots Going On This Week

1) Science Classes are wrapping up Unit 4. Project Games will be played Monday & Tuesday

2) All Classes will be reviewing Unit 4 material Wednesday thru Friday

3) We will test on Monday Feb. 8th.

4) All 6th graders have MAP testing 1st &2nd period.

Monday -- Math

Tuesday -- none for Jump Rope for Heart Assembly - 8:30 am

Wednesday -- Reading

Thursday -- Science

Friday -- Language Usage

But what is MAP? -- I'm glad you asked. MAP is an online assessment tool like RENSTAR, but this program gives us much better data to help us as teachers, parents and students to target the specific standards our students need help with.


With SOOOOOO much going this week, it is REALLY important that all students follow the weekly agenda AND pay attention to due dates BY CLASS.

Monday - CW: 3rd - 8th Period Game Play ----HW: None - Unless your game needs more work

Tuesday - Normal Day - CW: ALL classes game play---- HW: Work on Review Guide

Wednesday - CW: 2nd Period Review; 5th-8th- Review Video with Note Taking ---- HW: All Classes Completing Review Guide

Thursday - CW: 3rd - 4th Period Review Guide Due and Review Game

CW: 5th - 8th Period Review Guide Due and Review Game

HW: All classes start studying for Test

Friday - CW: 2nd Period Review Guide Due and Review Game

CW: 5th-8th Period Review Game

HW: All classes STUDY for Test

Science is in DESPERATE NEED of Pencils. Please Donate Pencils to your Science Teacher!

Your child will be coming home on Tuesday with their Course Selection Sheet. This sheet MUST be filled out and TURNED into your child's social studies teacher on or before Friday February 12th.

Students should be be bringing their chrome books and chargers everyday to school. Student chrome books are a requirement of every class to complete class work. They are just as important as their agenda, binder, pencil or cell phone. Please help remind your child so they are prepared for class everyday.
