LANGUAGE ARTS AND SOCIAL STUDIES

This week we will be combining reader and writer workshops. We are finishing the DBQ about Amelia Earhart and writing a 5 paragraph expository paper.

MATH AND SCIENCE

In Math, we have been working with different strategies to add four two-digit numbers. This week, we will go in depth with word problems and introduce fractions.

In Science, we are still focusing on our Animal Unit. We are learning about how animals can be classified into categories based on their traits. We are also identifying various animal parts and their functions.
