Big Love Yoga is for those who have never done yoga and are 30lbs+ overweight. In this workshop we will go over the basics of yoga and the modifications for bigger and/or inflexible bodies. We will also discuss the yogic lifestyle which includes whole body, mind, meditation and breath work.

This workshop will be a safe place to explore awareness in both movement and in stillness with others in a similar situation. You can expect to gain the tools needed to feel better physically and mentally, all in a supportive non-judgmental environment. All ages and abilities are welcome and encouraged. Alex van Frank, Registered Yoga Teacher

Alex is Yoga Alliance certified, member of International Association of Yoga Therapists and has experience in various forms of yoga including restorative, anusara, vinyasa, therapeutics and meditation. She has travelled extensively throughout India studying Ayurveda, philosophy and language. Alex takes your health very seriously and also holds an advanced CPR/AED certificate from the National Heart Association.
