Economy and industrialisation

Industrial Revolution was late and slow, only Basque Country, Catalonia and large cities.

Population still worked in the fields England or Germany used machinery.

SOCIETY

Bourgeosie became rich and became the dominant social class.

The Industrial Revolution brought serious social problems very bad working conditions and child explotation. In rural areas, the peasants extreme poverty. Political demands or the working class.

New social classes, and the bourgeoisie were now the upper class lived in modern neighbourhoods.

Poor neighbourhoodswith bad living conditions. Lower classes, like factory workers, livid here.Coal caused serious polution.
