Nut Free Classroom

We have some learners with severe nut allergies, so our classroom is designated as a nut free zone. Please do not send any food to school that contains nuts. Thank you for helping us keep our classroom safe for all learners!

Curriculum Corner

Reading: We will be making connections: text to self, text to text, text to world.

Writing: We will continue a unit on expository writing. This week we will continue writing How To Books.

Math: We will be continuing to model and solve addition and subtraction word problems.

Science: We will be studying force and motion.

Social Studies: We will be finishing our Influential African Americans PBL. We will present out book pages to the class this week.

Mid Year Conference

After seeing your learner's assessment scores for the middle of the year, please contact me if you want to schedule a conference. Conferences are optional - only if you feel like we need one!

Reminders and Announcements

If you pick up your learner out front when school dismisses, your learner must walk all the way to 1A's spot on the concrete before he/she may leave with you. Please do not try to take your learner out of line until we have reached our spot....thank you!
