Important Reminders!
- No School on Monday!
- Report Cards are in Friday Folders today. Remember 'S' is where we are expecting them to be; it means they are meeting all the required skills and goals.
- Included in report card envelopes is information about our first FIELD TRIP!
- Also included in report card envelopes is log-in information to use Reading Eggs at home in case you no longer have it from earlier in the year.
- Friday folders also include your child's writing from October-December. Please have them share their stories with you!
- Chick-fil-a Biscuit day is next Friday!
- Our 100th Day of School is on Friday! See below for details!

100th Day of School!!!!!!
Some fun plans include:
* Dressing up like we are 100 years old- see note in report card envelopes
* Making a snack mix of 100 food items- Sign Up Genius Link
* Counting, sorting, stacking, and building with 100 items in math
* Kicking off our class goal of reading 100 books together (we will start a chart to keep track of them)
* Making a photo collage of 100 silly faces we can make =)

Reading & Writing Skills of the Week
- Check your reading- does it make sense?
- Using letter sounds to help you read words in books

- Using a vowel chart to help with sounding out the middle of words
- Beginning a sentence with a capital
- Capitalizing the pronoun "I"

Math Skills of the Week
- Counting to 100 by ones and tens
Numbers
- Comparing numbers between 0-10; "Is this number greater/less/ more than that number?"
- Comparing sets of objects to decide which is greater/less or has more/less.

- Sort objects into categories/groups and and count amount in each group.
Science & Social Studies Skills of the Week

2) Type in your child's student number (200....)
3) Their password is their initials, the month of their birthday, and the day of their birthday (i.e. mine would be lw1224)
