Upcoming Rehearsals

Our rehearsal schedule is unique this week. We have adapted our schedule to best utilize the staff to assist the students in performance preparation.


This week:

Tuesday (9/23): All band members will rehearse from 6:00-9:00. Students should arrive between 5:45 and 5:55 in order to start rehearsal at 6:00.

Wednesday (9/24): Normal after school rehearsal for all band members.

Thursday (9/25): School Holiday

Friday (9/26): After school rehearsal for all band members.

Saturday (9/27): Football game and competition

Next Week:

Tuesday (9/30): Normal after school rehearsal for all wind and percussion. Color guard will rehearse from 6:00-9:00.

Wednesday (10/1): All band members will rehearse after school until 5:00.

Thursday (10/2): After school rehearsal, eat/dress/load, and football game

Friday and Saturday: No marching band

Yankee Candles Fundraiser

The Yankee Candle fundraiser is almost over. There are two ways for family and friends to order, through your student via the paper form or on-line. If anyone chooses to order on-line, please have them go to www.yankeecandlefundraising.com and sign in through "seller log in." Our group number is 99307020. Online orders will be shipped directly to their address. Any paper orders can be placed in the band parent box in the cabinet by the band room door. Deadline for orders is Tuesday, 9/23.

Home Football Game vs. Council Rock South

Monday, Sep. 22nd, 9pm

War Memorial Field, Doylestown, PA, United States

Doylestown, PA

Kick-off for the game is set for 11:00. All band members and chaperones should report to school by 9:00 at the latest. Equipment crew for the game should arrive at 8:45. We will return to CB East before the end of the game, where we will rehearse and eat prior to travelling to the performance at CB South.

Competition at CB South

Monday, Sep. 22nd, 6:30-10:30pm

1100 Folly Rd

Warrington, PA

We will be departing the morning football game early and travelling back to East where we will prepare for the night competition. Between rehearsal and the performance we will break for a pot-luck dinner (see the other announcement).


The competition will begin at 6:30 PM and will conclude with an awards assembly at 9:30. There are three bands in our competitive class, and the performances start at 8:15. Our performance is slated for 8:30. Students will not change out of uniform or eat at the competition. We will watch the host band from the track and stay there for awards. We will change and store our uniforms when we return to CB East.

Pot Luck Dinner for Students on Saturday

In order to insure that everyone has a decent meal in the midst of a busy day, we would like to host a pot luck dinner for the kids on Saturday afternoon. Please visit the sign-up genius to volunteer to bring some food. We have most of the requested items already covered - only a few volunteers left. If applicable, all personal items (like crock pots, coolers, serving dishes, etc.) can be picked up and taken home before the competition that night. No one has to miss the performance!
