NEWS FROM WERNER

Thank You Volunteers

April 29, 2022

Dear Werner Community,

This week, we celebrate our volunteers. While the last few years have been challenging to have volunteers in person, we are so grateful for all the support you provide. Volunteers are one of the cornerstones for our success as a school. Each year, we depend on you to help us with enrichment opportunities, clerical work, working with students, community events and everything in-between. This invaluable work saves our staff time, but more importantly it makes a difference!

So, this week, we say “Thank You” for what you do. You give of your time, talents, and treasure to make Werner the best place possible!

With gratitude,

Werner Staff

Fence Security Communication

Dear Werner Community,

I wanted to let you know that next week, we will begin to lock the gates, located on the east fence, each day during school hours to increase our security measures. There is no specific threat, but we have had some issues with individuals from the community cutting across school grounds during the day when students are playing. All staff will have the ability to unlock, if needed, and gates will be unlocked before/after school. As always, we ask that you access the school from the front entrance and check in with office staff if you are visiting the school during the school day too. Thanks for your support with these changes!

Thanks,

Hayden Camp

Principal
