We made it! It's our last day of school!!!!! Never in a million years did I think that this is the way we'd be spending it, though. The documents you will need for today's agenda can be found below. Remember, some of these are OPTIONAL activities.
ALL SIGNATURE SHEETS MUST BE E-MAILED TO ME BY TOMORROW, MAY 15th!
ReadWorks: Seeds Need to Move
Click here to reread Seeds Need to Move. You will just need to log in as a STUDENT by clicking "Student Login." From there, you will need to enter our class code, which is JC7UWS. You will then select your name from the list, and enter the password 1234. When you do this, the listing of stories pop right up. Simply choose Seeds Need to Move.
Today you'll need the Four Square Vocabulary sheet so that you can fill it out using the vocabulary word travel from the story. You can download a copy below.
Math: Polygon Review
Using the Polygons and Solid Figure Match Game materials. Find a friend to play this Memory-style game to hone your skills in this area.
Option 1: 2nd Grade Math Board Find it here. Do you have a deck of cards at home? Remove the face and the 10s cards. Select an activity from the Thursday row to complete.

Optional Scholastic News: The Girl with Olympic Dreams
Click here for the online version, where the text can be read aloud to you. You will need to click LOGIN in the upper right hand corner and choose "STUDENT." Next, enter the password "forkbat4651" to obtain these documents. You will select the "Listen and Read" (on level) button underneath the news magazine that matches the one pictured to the right.
After reading the news magazine, go to the "Extend the lesson" activities and choose the video "Let the Olympic Games Begin" Next, take a Dance Break...athletes-style. After that, learn more information about vocabulary from the article. Just for fun you might wish to play the "Girl With Olympic Dreams" game. Finally, settle in with some silly fun creative writing about your very own Olympic sport.

Optional Summer Writing
After downloading the monthly prompts below, choose a prompt from that particular month that sounds fun or interesting. Each menu has narrative, informational, and opinion (O.R.E.O.) prompts. Use your task journal or a notebook for your writing. Be sure to go back and edit your work. When you're finished, be sure to share with a family member, friend, pet, or stuffed animal.
