The Canal Craze — This presentation will discuss the construction and success of the Erie Canal and the subsequent “canal craze” that sparked the idea of a Great Sacandaga Canal. The craft kits will include most of the materials you will need to make the craft. You will need glue, a pencil, and scissors at home to complete the project. This craft is recommended for children ages 3 and up. The Grab 'n Go kits are available during library hours the week of March 20-24, and they are located in a bin outside of the library on a first come first serve basis. |
