INTEGRITY:
I CAN BE RELIABLE.
An ounce of action is worth a gallon of explanation. The people in our lives who are the most reliable are those whose walk aligns to their talk. Less reliable individuals typically say what fits the conversation and then act in a different matter. They do not come through when we need them. As educators, it is paramount to be reliable to our students, parents, and school community. If we say we will complete a task, be prepared for a lesson or meeting, or promise to support ALL students, then our daily actions need to match those statements. Nothing will lose a student's trust faster than saying you care about them, and then, over the course of a semester, demonstrating actions that do not align with that same compassion and concern. Let's make sure that our actions align with words during the upcoming week!
