Hoover Elementary School News
November 2022
Dear Parents/Guardians,
November 3 is the end of the first marking period. Over the next few weeks, teachers will be preparing report cards and begin scheduling parent/guardian-teacher conferences. Your partnership in your child's education is important to us. We look forward to seeing you during parent/guardian/teacher conferences later this month.
Thank you for sharing your child with us.

Dismissal Procedures reminders
- Parking lots are for staff and volunteers only. If you are choosing to park/walk to pick up your child you may not park in these lots. The car rider line may be a better option for a safe pickup for your child.
- The car rider line gate opens by 2:45 PM. Please do not arrive before then. The road is a two-way road until you enter past the gate. Please do not block the intersections or driveways. Camp Hill Police have been monitoring this closely and may begin ticketing vehicles if this continues.
- Please remember to have your purple sign visible to staff.
- If you have older siblings coming to pick up younger siblings, please remind them of our Lion PRIDE expectations. They need to comply with district/school rules while on school property or they will no longer be permitted to pick up younger siblings.
Thank you for your help with these procedures.
Lion PRIDE UPDATES
Lion PRIDE School Store
Thank you to everyone who has signed up or donated items for our PBIS School Store! Teachers continue to reinforce Lion PRIDE daily. The students are enjoying spending and saving their 10-Frames for things they want to purchase from the Roar Store. Thank you for helping us reinforce Lion PRIDE in our students here at Hoover. Check out the donations button below and please consider making a donation to our school store!
We are still seeking a few volunteers to help with our school store in the morning time frame. Please refer to the original request here and email Mrs. Czarnecki if you are available to help.
Counselor's Corner
Thank you to our special volunteers that helped make Unity Day a success! Students and volunteers worked together through a variety of games and activities that highlight the importance of diversity, inclusion, and kindness. Check out a few photos from this special day.
