SOUL FOOD
DON'T FORGET TO PRAY!
St. Joseph, my loving father,
I place myself forever under
your protection. Look on me as
your child and keep me from all
sin. I take refuge in your arms, so
that you may lead me in the
path of virtue, and assist me
at the hour of my death.
Amen.
(Saint Clement Mary Hofbauer)
Get outside and move!
Just Do it!
Balloon Games!
1. Volleyball (need a net? Use a jump rope, or a length of string or rope tied between two chairs, two trees, two trash cans, or even two parked bikes! Don't forget to keep score.
2. Have a contest to see who can keep a balloon up off the ground the longest. Set a stopwatch or timer. Try different sized balloons. Which size is easiest to keep afloat?
3. Pretend the balloon is a soccer ball and see how many knee taps you can do? Compete with a friend.
4. Hide balloons around the house and see how long it takes each player to find them. After everyone has had a turn, sit on the balloons to pop them!
5. Have a water balloon fight!
***Popped balloons can be a danger to small children and pets. Use caution when playing with balloons to keep them out of the mouths of little kids and pets.
