Spotlight on KEA
North Carolina's Kindergarten Entry Assessment Shines
WE HAVE THE INSIDE SCOOP ON WHAT'S GOING ON IN KINDERGARTEN
The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction's Collaborative Conference for Student Achievement (CCSA), is the perfect place to share what's happening in Kindergarten. The Office of Early Learning is excited to bring several enlightening sessions regarding the North Carolina Kindergarten Entry Assessment right here for you to join. Each session takes a different look through a variety of lenses to give you the greatest insight into what teachers are doing in Kindergarten classrooms and how these developmental domains of learning are being integrated into daily routines. Stakeholders across all eight regions of North Carolina have been asked to share and answer questions on how this formative assessment process has been implemented and how they plan to continue moving forward with North Carolina's Kindergarten Entry Assessment (KEA), now that the initial sixty day window has closed. Please join any or all of the sessions to hear real results from the people who are putting this formative assessment process into practice, and to get a deeper understanding of how this is a step in the right direction for the students of today and tomorrow.
You can read more about the individual sessions below.
