Cosmic Skate and Play

Friday, Nov. 7th, 1-3pm

Waynesboro, PA

The facility does have a moon bounce for younger students that do not want to skate as well as video arcade games.

Please RSVP by emailing Mr. Smith at with the number of students attending and number of skaters.

Cost for the outing is $5 per skater

The outing is $5 a person and includes skate rentals. If you want inline skates, there is a $1 up charge to $6 a person.

You may also bring along your own skates as long as they are clean and have polycarbonate wheels.

I will be accepting the payments at the beginning of the outing when you sign in. We need to have 45 skaters for the outing.

Join us at Cosmic Skate and Play on November 7th from 1pm to 3pm

Come and join us on November 7th, 2014 to relieve some of that pent up energy from the fall weather. The site has a concession stand at the facility to get drinks and food if wanted. Stretch your legs on the skating floor and meet up with some new and old friends from PA Virtual.


12:45p to 1:00p -- Arrivals and sign ins

1:00p to 3:00p -- Skating and socializing with PA Virtual

3:00p --------------- Dismissal

Purpose of the Outing: Social & Educational

-Students will be able to make new relations with others attending the school to develop bonds of friendship and cooperation.

-Student will utilize motor skills to roller skate and play on the moon bounce to develop muscle strength and improve cardiovascular functions.

-Students will gain an understanding of the benefits of being active as it relates to physical and mental health.

Students may log 120 minutes of Physical Education & 60 minutes of Language Arts for this outing.

Reminder about all PA Virtual Events

1: In consideration of our students with serious allergies, please refrain from bringing nut (food) products and balloons.

2: As always, to limit the spread of possible flu, please do not attend a PAVCS event if you have had a fever within 24 hours of the event.

3: For safety: All students need to be accompanied by a parent or learning coach. All students must wear shoes/sneakers for the entire school event and please refrain from bringing pets.

4: If there is a possibility of severe weather, please check Blackboard the day of the event in case the event is cancelled due to weather.

5: All PAVCS events are tobacco free.
