The Colt Courier
December 28, 2019
I hope you are all enjoying a much deserved break by relaxing and spending time with family and friends. I am so happy and proud to be a part of the SES family. I have heard so many wonderful things about Springfield and I am lucky to be a Colt! I look forward to getting to know all of you throughout the rest of this year.
I was born just outside of Pittsburgh, PA and grew up in a small town in Ohio. I attended Mount Union College in Ohio where I got my degree in Early Childhood Education. After college, I moved to Jacksonville, NC to teach 5th grade for five years. I met my wife Candice there and we moved to Fort Mill. I taught 4th grade for six years at Orchard Park and Doby's Bridge and then became the Assistant Principal at Doby's. I have been AP there for three and a half years. During this time, we had our only child. His name is Brock and he is two. I am so excited to be your Principal at Springfield Elementary and I look forward to a great rest of the year!
