Dual Enrollment Information

If you are interested in participating in Dual Enrollment for the 22-23 school year, there will be dual enrollment information sessions. Due to the updated FCBOE Covid guidelines, the scheduled session held at Starr's Mill High School has been cancelled. However, there are other planned informational meetings or you may view the presentation online via Schoology. All new and returning DE students and parents must attend a session or view it virtually to be eligible to participate in dual enrollment. UGA Vet Camp 2022


UGA is currently accepting applicants for VetCAMP 2022, which is scheduled for June 12-17, 2022. This program is offered to rising high school juniors and seniors and rising college freshmen to evaluate their skills and competitiveness as future veterinarians, provide mentorship and help them experience veterinary medicine as an exciting career path. It’s a great experience and students have a lot of fun while also learning about the profession.


The application for VetCAMP 2022 is currently available on our website (http://vet.uga.edu/academic/vetcamp). The deadline for all application materials is January 24, 2022.


The cost of attending the program is $900 and covers lodging, meals, instruction and social activities. Financial assistance is available to students with demonstrated need. For more information regarding scholarship opportunities or general questions, please contact vetcamp@uga.edu once the application period has opened.

Kevin L. Allen Memorial Scholarship Fund

Kevin was a strong, caring, talented and adventurous person. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor and not hesitating to help someone out in a time of need. Georgia Scholar Program

Through the Georgia Scholar program, Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) identifies and honors high school seniors who have achieved excellence in school and community life. Each Georgia Scholar receives a seal for his or her diploma. Applicants should be aware that Georgia Scholar is a recognition-only program and no scholarship funds are associated. The application deadline is Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at noon. Visit the Georgia Department of Education Website to learn more information regarding this program.
