Thank you for being flexible!
Thank you to everyone for being flexible with the many adjustments we had to make to start this school year. We appreciate you demonstrating grit to support each other and keep our focus on the Main Thing! You make coming to work each day enjoyable and worthwhile.
Never forget:
You are making a difference!
You matter!
Your students need you!

Flu Shots at Hearne
Good morning Hearne Huskies! AISD Wellness will again be sending someone to give flu shots. For Hearne it will be Tuesday, September 25 from 2:30 to 4:30 pm. If you have Alief ISD insurance, bring your card (they required us to write the ID # last year), if you do not it is $25.
Unless you have a medical contraindication, I strongly recommend that everyone get a flu shot, for your safety and the safety of the students, family, and friends you come in contact with. Some people who cannot get a flu shot for a medical reason rely on the rest of us to protect them. Thanks!

Alief wants to trend on Twitter...you can help!
We are aiming to become a Houston Trend on Twitter and we need everyone’s help! Starting Monday, October 1st please ensure that everyone tweets using the hashtag #aliefmission in ALL LOWERCASE LETTERS….yes, there is a difference in the lettering when it comes to hashtags. It must be all lowercase to help with consistency.
October 1st within every tweet you send be sure to use #aliefmission and tag us at @aliefisd. We will need 1,000 tweets in order for it to become a trend. Trends are updated twice daily and I would love to see Alief active online.
