We first want to thank all of the parents and students that came and volunteered at Band Fair. We had over 50 adults and kids that came and helped either set up, work a table, answer questions, run errands, serve food, clean up etc... It's so amazing to see the band family come together!

Meal Time: 7:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.

Come find the Band Boosters table out front to pick up your tickets or purchase tickets.

We want the whole family to come!!

$25.00 / person and includes a meal ticket. Cash or Check only at the gate.

Reserved seating in the Bayous!

Park reserved just for the Mustang Band 8pm-10pm.

Show Shirts - If you didn't pick up your show shirt at band fair and your child didn't receive theirs on Thursday during band camp, please reach out to one of the Booster VP's via email.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Thank you everyone for signing up to volunteer for concessions. We had some changes this week in the schedule with the elimination of one Varsity home game. If you were signed up for that game you should've gotten an email.

We still need people for the first games 8/26 and 8/27 (all shifts for all 3 games - Freshman, JV and Varsity), so if you can please sign up to help. It is the Red Rail game and will be very busy so we need lots of volunteers to help!

We continue to need a Varsity concession manager for one of the stands - this position can be 1 person (opens and closes) or 2 people (1 to open and 1 to close). Please, please, if you can, consider this position - we only have 4 home games this year.

Thanks again for all the participation and support we are off to a great start.

FUNDRAISING!!!

Mustang Daily Dollars Fundraiser!

All calendars, log sheets and money are due Monday, August 9.

We would like to have every student participate with this fundraiser to achieve our 100% participation goal!

HERE IS HOW IT WORKS:

You will ask family and friends to donate/sponsor a calendar day. They will donate the dollar amount represented by the date. EXAMPLE: Sponsor August 22th and donate $22. Sponsor August 10th and 25th and donate $35. It is that easy! Fill every spot on your calendar and you should raise $465!!

Every student that completes the entire calendar will receive 10% of the calendar donations as a credit to their band account. That would be $49.60 to your band account!** We are challenging you to complete 2 calendars! You can do it!

Sponsorships

We are looking for Sponsorship partners for the 2021-2022 school year. If you know of any business that would be interested in being our partner please reach out with the Sponsorship form and return it to fundraising@grapevinehsband.com.

NYC Trip Updates

At this time, everyone on the trip should plan on bringing a mask and proof of vaccination to NYC. While a great deal can change between now and then, everyone should be prepared for this to be an expectation of the trip.
