The Birkenfelds TomLand Update
December 2015
Merry Christmas!!
As 2015 draws to a close and we look back on the last 12 months, what God has done, and what new things He's started in our midst, we're overwhelmed with gratefulness to Him and to you for your partnership in the task here! We can see the "ripening of the harvest" and have seen glimpses of the reaping that is to come. We believe 2016 will be even sweeter and look forward to following wherever Father might lead. So, with the short video message down below, we want to express our thanks for accompanying us on this journey. May Jesus fill your hearts and your homes in deeper ways this season!

Christmas Events and New Team Formation
Over the course of the next couple weeks, our family, our team, and our fellowship will be having a few various get-togethers in order to share about Christmas and the hope that we're celebrating this time of year. Please be lifting this time up as we meet new people, go deeper with existing friends, and try to "leverage the season" to speak of J and his incarnation. Specifically, there will be things on the 22nd, 23rd, 24th, and 27th evenings that you can join us in taking before the Lord's throne.
New Team Formation
As most of you know, with our transition over to EW, we will be leading a new team here in this region beginning in April. Along with our friends, David and Kelley, from College Station, there will be some other people moving here to join us. Two of those people, Jami and Lyndsay, were with us this past week for their vision trip. Jami has been in another city here for the past year and we're looking forward to her joining the work down here. Lyndsay currently lives in Austin and has been in ministry/service with a fellowship there for the past 10+ years. We're so excited about being on the cusp of this new season and helping mobilize, equip, and on-board new harvest workers in this city. Please join us in asking Father to provide during fundraising and final training before moving here. And that our new team would love and serve each other in the pursuit of His lost sheep here so that we can bring God his due glory in this place.
Don't Forget About Buying Some Yummy Coffee
We're continuing to partner with Gobena Coffee to help fund our adoption. AND we've gotten RAVE reviews on the coffee that people have been buying! Give your friends and family a tasty Christmas present--whether it be Snickerdoodle, Pumpkin Spice, or Snowflake blend! Or, even better, just treat yourself! :) In fact, with a coffee club membership, you can get coffee automatically delivered to your doorstep on a set schedule AND get it at a 10% discount.
