Recessive Traits are when both parents have the same type of trait they both might have brown hair or the same color eyes. When the parents have a child the child would have the same trait as both of its parents. So it will be a Recessive Trait.
Alternative forms of a given gene are called alleles, and they can be dominant or recessive. When an individual has two of the same allele, whether dominant or recessive, they are homozygous.
