Wonders Access for Grade Changers

Teachers who are changing grade levels next year should have their Wonders access change over after the STARS transfer occurs on August 1.

Docking Stations

Docking Stations should stay in place, but please take pictures of the set up and consider labeling the cords so that if they are moved over the summer you know how to reassemble if needed. If a docking station must be moved, move it as a group, carefully laying the monitor on a soft surface to avoid tipping it over. Cover the equipment with an old sheet if possible.

BCPS One - Enhancements

Based on user feedback, the BCPS One homepage is being enhanced to offer more features and functionality. BCPS One users can log onto to preview the redesigned homepage, which will be launched on Monday, June 22, 2015.

BCPS One Support

The BCPS One support model has been expanded to

include direct communication with the Engrade Support Team.

With these additional support resources, school staff can expect improved response time when they send inquiries to either or to School staff can also reach out to Engrade via phone at 1-800-305-1367.

Password Reminders

NEVER share your user name and password with anyone! This includes substitute teachers.

NEVER leave your machine logged in! Always lock your machine or log off. (Pressing the Window key and L will lock the device.)

NEVER check the box to save your password when using a browser.

NEVER use your teacher credentials to bypass the LightSpeed filter.

If you have done any one of the four things listed above it is recommended that you change your password right now!


Just as last summer, take it home with you. Keep it secure, bring it to any trainings.

Teachers and school administrators moving to another BCPS school should take his/her device (HP Revolve or Folio) to their newly assigned school. The device will need to be added to the new school’s inventory. Principals should ensure that the technology liaison or designee adds all new devices to the school’s inventory by Friday, September 4, 2015. Teachers or school administrators moving to a central office position should leave his/her device at the school for the incoming teacher or administrator.

Clean Out Drives

  • Clean out and back up your H drive.
  • Clean out the Shared Drive (I)
  • Clean out the Student Drive (L)
  • Make sure students back up anything they want on their H drives. These will be deleted July 1.


Ms. Verletta White, along with senior leadership in the Division of Curriculum and Instruction, request feedback from school-based staff and administrators to measure the level of expertise, service, and support received from the offices in the Division of Curriculum and Instruction during the 2014-2015 school year. 2 Responses will be used to facilitate leadership discussions and planning over the summer. Respondents will be asked to identify their school level (elementary, middle, or high) only, and all responses will remain confidential. It is recommended that this survey be accessed via a computer or tablet. The survey link is, and should be completed by Sunday, June 21, 2015.


The Resource Centers for Families and Schools at Middlesex Elementary and Campfield Early Learning Center will have adjusted hours and days for summer 2015. Resource centers will be open Monday through Friday (except July 3) from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the dates listed below. (Dates and times are subject to change; please call to verify.) Regular hours will resume Monday, August 17, 2015.
