Findley PTO: Supporting our students by connecting parents, staff, and the community!
Like us on Facebook Findley Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a partnership between Findley parents and teachers to promote education and communication between the parents, staff, and community of Findley Elementary, well as to enhance and augment the basic curriculum through volunteerism and student enrichment programs. As a parent of a Findley student, you are automatically a member of the PTO! Curious about PTO programs or have questions? Visit our website at www.findleypto.com or email president@findleypto.com.
P.T.O Calling all Volunteers!
The programs Findley PTO provides are possible only because of YOU!
Have you signed up for an mVP volunteer profile? BSD requires all volunteers to have a volunteer profile in mVP, the district’s new volunteer management system. If you have not yet applied for an mVP volunteering account, please follow the instructions at http://www.findleypto.com/volunteering/jumpstart-into-volunteering/. An mVP profile is required in order to volunteer or to be present in any Findley classroom or event within school hours.
Attend a Volunteer Orientation! All new and returning volunteers are encouraged to attend one of these two sessions, which will include an overview of the volunteer management software, important guidelines, expectations, and opportunities.
Tuesday, Sept 19th at 9am • Wednesday, Sept 20that 7pm
Here are the current recruitment needs:
Passport Club Co-Lead - Findley is in critical need of a Passport team this year! We are looking for someone to Co-Lead the Findley Passport Club. Passport Club is a volunteer-run geography enrichment program offered at Findley. Each month, students learn world locations and identify them on a map.
Please contact the Volunteer Coordinator, Lauren Wylie, at volunteer.coordinator@findleypto.com
Class Coordinator - We need your help, become a class coordinator for your student's class! This role is important in helping facilitate communication between the teacher and parents, and helps a classroom run efficiently through the use of volunteers. It's a great way to get to know the teacher and class.
