Valentine Exchange in Class--Friday, February 12th
We do not have a Valentine's party at school. Instead, we will have a Valentine Exchange in class on Friday, February 12th. If your child would like to bring Valentine cards to give to their friends, they can do so on Friday, Feb. 12th.
Please be aware that food or candy treats should not be attached to Valentine cards. If your child wants to attach pencils, erasers, stickers, etc…. to their cards for their friends, that is fine. Students will not be allowed to pass out any edible items.
This is optional, but if your child does want to bring Valentine cards, please just have them write "To: My Friend" on each card and sign their name. If your child wants to decorate a shoebox or a bag at home they certainly can bring it to school with their cards. Otherwise I will give them a bag to collect any cards they might receive.
