Weekly Update-Volume VI Issue 39

Shake and Bake!

The U.S. Coast Guard JLP was part of an Armed Forces medley that presented colors before the Coca Cola 600 NASCAR race in Charlotte over the weekend. Master Chief Dupree and the cadets did an outstanding job representing the Coast Guard and Camden County High School.

Awards

Thanks to Ms. Freshwater, Mrs. Lassiter, Mr. Tuman, and everyone else who gave their time to make our awards nights special for our students. The week of awards is a busy week, but it's always great to celebrate the achievements of our students.

Observations

Please log on to the NCEES and review your observations and make sure they are acknowledged. I can only access your summary evaluation with all of the checks are green. Your help with this will make the process much quicker. See me if you have any questions. Thanks in advance.

Bruin Success

Beginning on May 16, all students will report to Bruin Boost for the final two weeks before testing. This should allow you dedicated time to review for exams.

COA College Liaison

Camden County Schools has partnered with College of the Albemarle to provide our students with a college liaison once a week. Kelvin Brown will serve as our liaison and will be on campus Tuesdays from 9:00-11:00. If you know of a student who has potential but no college plans, you can refer them to Mr. Brown. More information will be forthcoming.
