Ridley School District Libraries: Destiny and/or Destiny Quest
Destiny vs Destiny Quest:
Ultimately, both Destiny and Destiny Quest are the same thing: The online card catalog for our Libraries.
Destiny is used primarily by Librarians and Library Paraprofessionals to check in/check out books, etc. You can also search across libraries for titles of books, and book availability.
Destiny Quest is used primarily by students and teachers to find books, create wish lists, etc.
Most Important Features of the RMS Destiny Quest:
- Search for books: by title, author, etc.
- TitlePeek: Additional information about books
- The Top 10 Books (with covers!)
- Resource Lists: Public Lists - Genre specific
- New Arrivals: Books listed by most recently added
- Advance Search: Lexile Search
- Login: Create reading lists to keep track of books have read, want to read, etc.
- "My Info": Lists books checked out, renew books, etc.
